Removing the Detachable Speaker Module

This model is shipped with the speaker module attached to the TV. Follow these instructions if, for any reason, you wish to remove
the speaker module.

Tools Needed: Phillips screwdriver, Plastic Plug that is packaged in the Operator’s
Manual plastic envelope.

Note:

If you plan to mount the TV on the Table Stand or wall mount,

it is best to remove the

Detachable Speaker Module first.

1. Prepare a flat work surface, free of any debris or items which may scratch the

front surface of the TV.
2. Lay the TV face-down on the work surface with the bottom of the unit closest

to you

3. Position the TV so that the bottom edge overhangs the table by about one

inch.
4. Unscrew the Speaker Module Pan Head Screws on the bottom edge of the TV,

that attach the Speaker Module to the TV (Figure 2)

WARNINg:

Always replace Speaker Module Mounting Screws. Failure to

do so will allow water to seep inside your TV. This can cause serious injury

and can damage your TV.

4. Gently remove the Speaker Module away from the TV. Note that the Speaker

Module Cable Connector is connected to the TV Cable Connector (Figure 3).

5. Disconnect the Speaker Module Cable Connector from the TV Cable

Connector (Figure 3-A).

6. Push the TV Cable Connector back into the TV (Figure 4).

7. Push the Plastic Plug (found in Operators Manual Plastic Envelope)

into the hole  (Figure 5).

WARNINg:

Make sure the plastic plug is put in the hole securely. Failure

to do so will allow water to seep inside your TV. This can cause serious

injury and can damage your TV (Figure 6.)
