Step 3:

 Pre-drilling the upper roof hook clamp holes. Drill 

another set of holes. Hole C is 85.21” above Hole A. Use a 
square to ensure you drill into the rafters!  Now there 
should be 8 holes pre-drilled into the rafters. 

Step 4:

 Use the ¼” diam. 4.5” long lag bolts to secure 

both of the lower mounting clips into the rafters (or 
total # required for each collector, see Reference 
Diagram 1).

lock washer to attach the base plate to the 
roof hook clamp.

the horizontal direction (see Reference Diagram 1). Distances 
are measured from the centers of the holes.
