CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
To Clean the Back Cover
Remove the 3-part cover from the Focus Point Back and remove foam. Machine wash
cold and allow cover to fully air dry.
NOTE–
Machine drying is not recommended. Do not bleach.
NOTE–
It is advisable to purchase a backup cover for use while your primary cover is being
washed.
To Clean the Foam Inserts
Wipe with a damp cloth. Allow to dry before reinstalling the cover.
To Clean the Back Frame and Laterals
The frame of the Focus Point Back may be wiped clean with soap and water.
NOTE–
Be sure not to use harsh abrasives or cleaners on any part of the Focus Point Back frame.
INSTALLING THE FOCUS POINT BACK
INSTALLING THE BOTTOM POST CLAMP (Figure 1)
Required tools: 3/16” Allen wrench
1. Remove the screw (A) and nut (B) securing the
clamp.
2. Two spacers (C) are provided for installing the
clamp. If required, install the spacer onto the
backrest tube.
• If installing the backrest on 1.125” (2.9 cm)
diameter backrest tube, no spacer is required.
• If installing the backrest on 1” (2.5 cm) diameter backrest tubes, the 1”
spacers are required.
• If installing backrest on 7/8” (2.2cm) diameter backrest tubes, the 7/8”
spacers are required.
3. Install the clamp onto the backrest tube with the hook cradle (D) facing upward
or pin (E), as shown in figures 1 & 2. Install the clamp (around the spacer if
required), so that the holes on the spacer are aligned with the holes on the
clamp.
4. Install the screw through the hole on the clamp. Hold the nut in place while
tightening the screw.
