4. Remove the nut plate (Fig. 5-B) from the holes of the backrest pan, and reposi-
tion with the hinge plate in the desired set of holes.
5. Install and secure the nuts and washers to the hinge plate and nut plate.
6. If necessary, follow the instructions for “Adjusting the Width of the Backrest”.
7. Tighten the nuts firmly.
ADJUSTING THE DEPTH AND ANGLE OF THE FOCUS POINT BACK
Required tools: 7/16" wrench
The depth and angle of the Focus Point Back is easily
adjusted by loosening (do not remove) the thin “jam”
nuts attached to bolts A (Fig. 6).
1. Loosen both jam nuts on the left/right hinge
plates.
2. Adjust Focus Point Backrest into desired posi-
tion.
3. Retighten the jam nuts.
NOTE–
The thin “jam” nuts used for this adjustment are unique to this application, and can not
be used in other places on this product.
ADJUSTING THE LATERAL HEIGHT AND ANGLE
Required tools: 7/16" wrench
To adjust angle of laterals:
1. Loosen the two bolts (Fig. 7-A) just enough for
the laterals to move.
2. Adjust the laterals into desired position.
3. Retighten bolts (A).
To adjust height of laterals:
1. Remove the nuts & washers (Fig. 7-B).
2. Remove lateral from backshell.
3. Remove the nut plate (Fig. 5-A) from the holes of the lateral and reposition.
4. Reinstall and secure the nuts and washers (Fig. 7-B)
