Preparing for side transfer:
DANGER!
• Move your system as close as you can to the seat you are
transferring to. If possible, use a transfer board.
• Transfer as far back onto the seat surface as you can. This
will reduce the risk that you will miss the seat or fall.
Flip up armrest
• On the side you wish to transfer from; flip the armrest all the
way up until it goes into its mechanical stop. This frees your
space for side transfer
(Fig. 7.3).
Remove side cushion
(Bolster)
• To remove the side cushion, pull the plastic lever attached to
the aluminum seat side rails backwards (Fig.7.4 - A).

• Swing the back part of the cushion outwards to an angle of
approximately 10° (Fig 7.5).
• Lift the cushion out from the front pin.
