5. CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
The 5W-Solar Panel can be connected via the DC-Jack, located on the rear of the battery pack.
With the 4-Light Kit, there are two 5W panels, and these are connected via a built-in ‘Y’
connector.
The user should ensure the panel is positioned to catch the maximum amount of sunlight and
should be away from any overhanging structure or foliage.
TIP - If in the northern hemisphere, face the panel south. If in the southern hemisphere, face
the panel directly north.
The system will still charge if switched OFF.
Allow the panel to remain in the sun for at least 8 hours.
