5.4 TRANSPORTATION
1)
Set stoppers in front and behind the crawlers.
2)
Put a chain or wire rope over the lower frame and the foreside devices and fasten them
securely.
5.5 TRANSPORTATION ON HIGHWAY
You must understand and obey the local regulations
before transporting the machine on highway.
1)
Check the trailer’s length, width, height and weight
before transportation by trailer.
2)
Check the road condition before transportation,
such as limit of size
,
weight and transportation
rules.
Sometimes the machine needs to be disassembled to fit
the size or weight limits.
5.6 LIFITING MACHINE
1)
Set work equipment to the sprocket side. Extend arm
cylinder and bucket cylinder to their end of stroke,
operate boom cylinder and lower the work equipment to
the ground.
2)
Stop the engine, remove the key and lock cab doors and
windows securely.
3)
Use steel rope and support rod with sufficient length to
keep them not to hit machine during lifting operation.
Cover steel rope or rod with protective material to avoid
damages to machine if necessary.
4)
Put steel ropes through the place between the first and
second track rollers on both side of the machine.
5)
Adjust steel rope to keep the lifting angle within 30° to
40°.
6)
Lifting the machine gradually, check that it’s balanced.
Make sure to keep machine at level, otherwise re-adjust
steel rope until it’s at level.
Put chain and wire rope over the
lower frame. Do not put the chain and
wire on or through the hydraulic
pipes or hoses.
