TAILGATE Rocker Switch
Pressing OPEN on the TAILGATE rocker switch (4)
performs the following:
• The backup lights and backup alarm will turn on and
stay on until the OPEN switch is released.
• There is a built-in 2-second delay to warn the
operator the tailgate is about to open.
• If the switch is released, the time delay duration
starts over again when the switch is pressed again.
• The OPEN light will illuminate green when the
tailgate is fully open.
Pressing CLOSE performs the following:
• The backup lights and backup alarm will turn on and
stay on until the CLOSED switch is released.
• There is a built-in 3-second delay to warn the
operator the tailgate is about to close.
• The operator must continue to press CLOSE until the
tailgate lock switch function operates.
• The CLOSE light will illuminate green when the
tailgate is fully closed and locked.
BODY RAISE Rocker Switch
Pressing UP on the BODY RAISE rocker switch (5)
performs the following:
• The backup lights and backup alarm will turn on and
stay on until the UP switch is released.
• There is a built-in 2-second delay warning the
operator that the body is about to rise.
• If the switch is released, the time delay duration
starts over again when the switch is pressed again.
• The body will continue to rise to the maximum height
as long as the switch is pushed.
Pressing DOWN performs the following:
• The backup lights and backup alarm will turn on and
stay on until DOWN is released.
• There is a built-in 3-second delay to warn the
operator the body is about to lower.
• If the switch is released, the time delay duration
starts over again when the switch is pressed again.
• The body will continue to lower to the down position
as long as the switch is pushed.
• When in the complete down position the rocker will
illuminate green.
WATER PUMP Rocker Switch
The WATER PUMP rocker switch (6) performs the same
function as the front control panel water pressure rotary
control.
When the water pump INCR switch is continually
pressed, the water pressure will increase to its maximum.
When the water DECR switch is continually pressed, the
water pressure will decrease to zero.
The water pressure can be adjusted each time the button
is pushed to increase or decrease the water pressure in
10% increments.
WORK LIGHT Rocker Switch (Option)
The WORK LIGHT rocker switch (7) operates up to four
work lights mounted to the power unit structure. The LED
status is updated on both switches on the curbside
control panel and the cab control panel.
EJECTOR PLATE Rocker Switch
In DUMP mode, the ejector plate is used to eject the
debris from the debris body. If the tailgate is fully raised,
the ejector plate will be allowed to extend fully.
Pressing OUT on the EJECTOR PLATE rocker switch (8)
performs the following:
• The ejector plate will move out until it reaches its
maximum extension just past the end of the debris
body opening.
Pressing HOME performs the following:
• The ejector plate will move forward toward HOME
until it is in the fully returned position.
• The HOME light will illuminate green whenever the
ejector plate is in the HOME position; otherwise, the
HOME light will illuminate red.
Compaction Function
In VAC mode, the ejector plate is used to compact and
de-water the debris inside the debris body.
Pressing OUT on the EJECTOR PLATE rocker switch
performs the following:
• The ejector plate will move out until the compaction
proximity switch is enabled.
Pressing HOME performs the following:
• The ejector plate will move forward until the ejector
plate reaches its home position, at which time the
HOME light will illuminate green. While the ejector
plate is traveling to its HOME position, the HOME
light will be illuminated red.
NOTE
The vac function will not operate if the ejector plate is not
in the home position.
