PREPARATION BEFORE TRAVELING TO WORKSITE
If there are any questions on how to implement the below
procedures, contact Super Products prior to starting
operation. Super Products will not be responsible for any
damage or injuries if all safety procedures are not
completely followed.
1.
Perform required maintenance as specified in the
Maintenance Schedule section of this manual.
2.
Check the oil and water levels in the engine,
transmission, and fuel.
3.
Close all water drain valves and install all plugs and
strainers previously removed.
4.
Make sure the boom is in transport position and
properly secured to the front bumper.
5.
Make sure the tailgate is closed and properly locked.
6.
Make sure all tools, accessories, and work
tubes/hoses are properly secured.
7.
Make sure all cabinet doors and access panels are
closed and there are no loose items on the truck
exterior.
8.
Make sure the final filter is clean and that the access
cover is secure.
9.
Make sure the fresh water fill pipe strainer is clean.
10. Close the water tank drain valve located above the
rear bumper.
11. If equipped with a body interconnect, make sure the
plug is installed in the debris body and the
interconnect valve is closed.
12. Conduct a complete truck walk-around to visually
inspect the truck for damage, leaks, or unsafe
conditions.
13. Check all lights for proper operation.
14. Set the brakes and place the transmission in neutral.
Turn the key on without starting the truck and lower
the hose reel.
15. Check the engine oil, coolant, windshield washer
fluid, and transmission fluid. The truck must be
running to check the transmission fluid.
16. Return the hose reel to the transport position and
secure the lock pins.
17. Make sure the jetting hose is securely fastened and
the safety shield is clamped down.
18. Make sure the gravity drain beneath the front bumper
is closed.
19. Turn the ignition key to off.
20. On the driver’s side, check both vacuum pump sight
glasses. They should be half full on level ground.
21. Make sure the Y-strainer is clean and the cap is on
the drain.
22. Make sure the cyclone separator is clean.
23. Make sure the hydraulic fluid reservoir is full, showing
halfway up on the sight glass.
24. Make sure the debris tank is lowered, the debris tank
door is locked, and all clean-out ports and drains are
closed.
25. Make sure the body flusher handle is closed.
26. Make sure the optional ejector plate is retracted and
the HOME switch on the curbside panel is lit green.
