NOTE:
The non-combustible fiberboard may be skim coated as a finish material, however, other types of non-
combustible board may provide a more durable surface.
(1 ea.) Top non-combustible fireboard is
required
(provided). Secure it to the nailing
flange.
(2 ea.) Side non-combustible fireboard is
optional (field provided)
. Secure it to the
nailing flange.
Do NOT install the side
fireboards if an optional surround is to be
installed.
3.
Finish out wall with 1/2” finishing materials – paint with high-temperature paint, etc.
4.
Install floor and media.
5.
Reinstall door and barrier.
** 6” straight vent section required before 90° elbow
*** Ensure stand-off spacers are assembled per instructions on
