Installing an Expansion Card
1. Power down the system as described in section 3.1. Remove the chassis from the rack
and seat it on a work bench (safety area). Then open the chassis cover as described in
section 3.2.
2. Pull the top load riser bracket up and out from the system.
3. Install the add-on card in the slot on the riser bracket and secure with the provided
screws.
Expansion Cards
4. Insert the riser card bracket into the motherboard expansion slot while aligning the riser
card bracket with the rear of the chassis.
5. Secure the bracket with the provided screws.
6. Connect cables to the expansion card as necessary.
7. Replace the chassis cover, plug the power cord into the rear of the power supply and
power up the system.
