D-2 Installing the Drive Cage
Installing the Rear Hard Drive Cage
1. Disconnect the power from the chassis by unplugging the power cord.

2. Remove the screws securing the dummy cover into the rear peripheral drive
bay. These screws are located on the underside of the chassis on the left-
hand side.
3. Remove the two empty drive trays from the hard drive cage.
4. Align the mounting holes in the hard drive cage backplane with those in the
rear of the hard drive cage.
5. Secure the backplane to the rear of the cage using three screws.
