Update IPMI LAN Configuration
Select Yes for the BIOS to implement all IP/MAC address changes at the next system boot.
The default setting is
No
. If this option is set to Yes, the following items will display.
IPMI LAN Selection (Available when Update IPMI LAN Configuration is set to Yes)
Use this feature to configure the IPMI LAN mode setting. The options are Dedicated, Shared,
and
Failover
.
VLAN Support (Available when Update IPMI LAN Configuration is set to Yes)
Select Enabled for IPMI VLAN support. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
Configuration Address Source (Available when Update IPMI LAN Configuration is
set to Yes)
Use this feature to select the IP address source for this computer. If Static is selected, you
will need to know the IP address of this computer and enter it to the system manually in the
field. If DHCP is selected, AMI BIOS will search for a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol) server attached to the network and request the next available IP address for this
computer. The options are
DHCP
and Static.
