Accessing Cooperating Advantage Express
KeyBoxes
Update codes validate your eKEY for use each day. Update codes are
handled differently in Advantage Express systems.
Updating in Advantage Express systems
As a SUPRA system participant you now enjoy the eSYNC feature
which automatically updates your eKEY every night. When you
cooperate with a KeyBox system on a monthly update system, the
eSYNC feature is not available.
Agents in an Advantage Express system must phone KIMvoice once a
month to receive update codes to assure their Keys are activated and
usable.
Your eKEY can contain up to five system codes-four others in addition
to your own. The eKEY recognizes when you access an Advantage
Express system KeyBox. It also recognizes that it must be updated
every 30 days for the Advantage Express system codes programmed
into your Key.
Knowing when to update in Advantage Express
systems
An UPDATE: # is printed on the back label of your eKEY. That number
represents the day of each month that your Key expires for each
cooperating Advantage Express system in which you participate.
Phone each Advantage Express system's KIMvoice on that day, or any
day thereafter, to hear their update codes. If the cooperating system
has an early call-in period, you may call in prior to the date printed on
the back of your eKEY to obtain the update code for that system.
Check with each KeyBox system to verify the early call-in period.
You must update your eKEY with the cooperating KeyBox systems
update code if you want to access KeyBoxes in those regions. For
example, if UPDATE: 25 is printed on the back of your eKEY, you must
obtain the update code on the 25th or before you show a listing in a
cooperating KeyBox system.
