Cooperating Systems
Entering update codes for cooperating KeyBox systems
Once you have obtained the update codes for each cooperating
KeyBox system, enter them in your eKEY. See Performing a Manual
Update in Chapter 5.
For example, you must enter three update codes if you cooperate with
three Advantage Express systems. Use the
Manual Update
function on
your eKEY to enter each update code. Your eKEY recognizes which
KeyBox systems are updated in your eKEY.
Using your
e
KEY to access cooperating KeyBoxes
KeyBox operation is identical in all cooperating KeyBox systems. Your
PIN also remains the same and is not affected by the number of system
codes programmed into your eKEY.
Updating in other SUPRA systems
Obtaining the update code for a cooperating SUPRA system is very
similar to how you update your Key in your own SUPRA system.
During the nightly eSYNC, your eKEY receives update codes for the
cooperating SUPRA systems in which you participate. Your eKEY is
programmed to recognize which update codes belong to which
KeyBox systems.
Should you forget to eSYNC, you can retrieve update codes for
SUPRA systems-both your own and cooperating systems-by using
one of the following methods:
!
Perform an immediate eSYNC to update your eKEY with update
codes for all SUPRA systems in which you participate. See Manual
eSYNC in Chapter 4.
!
Phone each SUPRA system's KIM to obtain the update code for
each system. For example, if you cooperate with two other
cooperating SUPRA KeyBox systems, you must place calls to three
KIM systems-one to your own KIM, and one to each of the other
two SUPRA KIM systems. See Chapter 8: Using KIMvoice.
!
Log onto the agent's website to obtain the update code for each
system. For example, if you cooperate with two other SUPRA
KeyBox systems, you must login to KIMweb three times--once for
each system. See Logging onto the Agent Website in Chapter 7.
If you select this method, then:
1. Select the name of your Board, Association, or MLS from the drop
