At this point:
•
If you click
Cancel
, you will not be allowed to check out a KeyPad for that day.
•
If you click the
Manager Override
button, your manager must enter his/her login ID and password and
click
Authorize Override
in order for you to check out a KeyPad.
Checking In KeyPads
When a key holder checks in a KeyPad at the end of a shift, the vehicle access activity in the KeyPad downloads
into the KeyAdvantage System.
To check in a KeyPad, do the following:
1. Click
KeyPad
>
Check in
. The
KeyPad Check In
window displays, as shown in
Figure 21
.

b. Place the KeyPad upside down on the programming base.
c. Once the yellow IR light on the programming base is lit, press the green
Start
(
) button on the
KeyPad.
d. Click
Next KeyPad
to check in another KeyPad or
Close
if done checking in KeyPads.
Modifying KeyPads
To change the status of a KeyPad to
Lost
or
Inactive
so it can no longer be checked out, use the
Modify KeyPads
menu option. To modify KeyPads, do the following:
1. Click
KeyPad

Modify KeyPads
. The
Modify KeyPads
window displays, as shown in
Figure 22

Search

Enter or select the search criteria in any active field. You can use the asterisk (*) or the percent sign (%)
as wildcards when searching for a record.
