main housing. Remove it. During operation,
the water level should always be between
the min. and max. marks on the trough. It is
advised to make-up the water after position-
ing.. Do not add chemicals or detergents to the
water. Re-install again the water tray.
WARNING: It’s recommended that the
water level in the water tray should be main-
tained as the instruction indicated above.
MAKING A STRAIGHT CUT
Adjust the guide to
the desired width
from the blade using
the scale rules on the
table surface for ref-
erence. To loosen and
adjust, use the se- cur-
ing knobs.
Position the tile firmly against the side fence
and pass through the blade in a smooth ac-
tion (Recommended feed speed; 20mm/s). Do
not force the tile to be cut too quickly.
NOTE: As the width of the workpiece is greater
the feed action should be decreased.
MAKING A MITRE CUT
Follow the same procedure for a straight cut
but employ the mitre guide in conjunction
with the parallel guide. The mitre guide simply
runs up against the edge of the parallel guide.
Ensure that the tile is held firmly into the
guide before making the cut.
CUTTING WITH THE
TABLE AT AN ANGLE
Use this facility if you
wish to cut an angle.
Loosen the table se-
curing knobs (one at
each side of table).
Tilt the table to the desired angle using the
scale under the table. Re secure the table and
make the cut as before.
ADJUSTING THE BLADE GUARD BRACKET
AND BLADE GUARD
NOTE: The blade guard bracket should be
in alignment with the plane of the blade, if
not, the blade guard bracket must be adjusted:
First, take off the blade guard, then loosen the
screws on the bracket, adjust the blade guard
bracket to align with the plane of the blade,
then screw down the two screws. Then refit
the blade guard.
MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Turn tile cutter off and un-
plug it from the power source when perform-
ing maintenance service, changing parts or
removing guards.
CHANGING THE BLADE
1. Take away the water tray.
2. Remove the blade guard cover by loosening
the screws.
3. Loosen and remove the blade fixing nut.
4. Remove the outer flange and the blade,
clean any dust and debris from the arbor and
blade securing flange.
5. Mount the blade on the arbor and place the
outer flange. Turn the blade 360 degrees to
make sure it matches with the flange properly.
Fully tighten the securing nut.
NOTE: Fit the inner and outer flange in proper
order. They have the different centre holes.
Ensure that the arbor and flange are clean.
Match blade direction arrow to blade rotation
direction (wording on wheel facing you).
6. Fit the blade guard spacing plate behind
the blade and the blade guard cover over the
blade.
