MINIMUMS:
For every instrument approach the barometric minimums must be set.Select on DCP-5031
Display Control Panel:
•
For ILS approaches set DA.
•
For Non precision approaches set MDA + 50 feet.
•
For visual approaches in reduced visibility set 500 feet AGL.
7.7Arrival/Approach Briefing
The most important factor of the approach briefing is that it is carried out in a lowworkload
environment when both crewmembers can interact and understand all elements of the breifing.
Ifavailable, engage the autopilot and pass control to the other pilot.
Both crew members shall confirm possession of identical, current and approriate plates, when
conductingany instrument arrival/approach procedure.
