7.25 Landing
As the threshold is crossed the power lever should slowly be reduced towardidle and the spoilers
deployed. If FO is conductingthe landing,a call to the Captain to deploy the spoilers shall be
made.
The nose gear should be lowered to the runway before elevator control islost. Immediately BETA
range shall be selected, and if landing on a limitingrunway, immediately select reverse. As soon
as a safe stop is assured, the PFwill move the power lever out of reverse at45KIASto minimize
debris damage to thepropeller.
Once the aircraft is slowed to
30KIAS
the Captain will retract spoilers, take control and request
manual steering to be selected.
