Phone Number Entry:
All calls from the Bluesky system are handled asinternational calls and
require a country code. Sincethe ‘+’ symbol represents “00”, simply enter thecountry code and
the phone number.
Ex: From the ACH 1000, dial 62 812 228 3174
62 is the country code for Indonesia.
Receiving Calls:
When receiving a call display will read ”INCOMMING CALL<OK> TO ANSWER”.
Press “OK” to answer. There will also be a ringtoneaudible on COM3 reception.
Ending Calls:
Press <CLR> to disconnect the call.
The telephone audio connection is via the Garmin audio panel COM3 to theheadsets of the
pilots. For this reason, COM3 always needs to be selected onlistening watch so pilots can hear
incoming calls. In order to talk in a phoneconversation, the yoke transmit button has to be
pressed by the pilots.
Menu Navigation:
Highlight “MESSAGES” by using the Up or Down MenuNavigation Button
and press the Right MenuNavigation Button. Next highlight “SHORT CODE”and press the Right
Menu Navigation Button.
You willbe forwarded to the Short Code sub menu. Using the Up and Down MenuNavigation
Button highlight the “Short Code” you would like to send and pressthe “OK” button. The LCD
screen will ask for the confirmation to send the “ShortCode” being displayed Press the “OK”
button to accept and send yourmessage.
The following short code messages are currently set for all company LET410 Aircraft:
1. Request Arrival Weather To request current weather at destination
2. Engine Failed! Self-Explaining
3. Emergency Divert Followed by input of new flight plandestination
4. Need Ambulance Self-Explaining
5. Onboard Fire Self-Explaining
6. Radio Failed In case of total communication failure
7. Emergency Landing Good In case of successful emergency landing
8. Order Pizza In case of hungry pilots
9. Serious Emergency In need of immediate attention
10. Not so Bad In case of resolved emergency
