Command “MEMORY ITEMS“
PM Puts his hand or finger on appropriate control element or switch and
reports his intention e.g. “LEFT POWER LEVER IDLE“

Visually checks, if PMs hand or finger is on proper control element or
switch and if reported intended operation is correct and reports
“CHECKED“
PM Performs reported operation.

If no memory items are required by emergency procedure
PF
Issues command to perform CHECKLIST according to failure
e.g.: BATTERY OVERHEATING ABNORMAL CHECKLIST“
PM Takes appropriate CHECKLIST and reads its name, thus confirming
correctness of the CHECKLIST e.g.: “BATTERY OVERHEATING ABNORMAL
CHECKLIST“
PM Puts his hand or finger on appropriate control element or switch and
reports what shall he done according to checklist e.g.: “BATTERY II OFF“
PF
Visually checks, if PMs hand or finger is on proper control element or
switch and reports “CHECKED“
PM Performs requested operation
PM After CHECKLIST is finished reports: “BATTERY OVERHEATING CHECKLIST
COMPLETED“.
Once the emergency has been dealt with, and normal flight dynamics need to
resume, the captain must re-assign tasks as required.
