ABNORMAL PROCEDURES
MISSED APPROACH ONE ENGINE INOPERATIVE
Note: configuration for GA - feathered inop engine and flaps in position 18°.

Command „GO AROUND, MAX POWER“.
PF
Sets MAX T/O POWER on operative engine and transits aircraft into climbing.
PM
Checks engine setting to max power, eventually adjusts and reports „POWER SET“.
PF
Maintain take-
off safety speed min. V2 ≥ 84 kts
PM
Checks transition into climbing and if instruments indicate climbing reports
„POSITIVE RATE“.
PF
Checks climbing and commands „GEAR UP“.
(In case of GA flaps 42° configuration retract flaps to 18° before gear up and PF command
„FLAPS 18° “).
PM
Moves landing gear control handle to retracted position. PM
Checks gear retraction and reports „GEAR IS UP“.
PM
Reports to ATC „……GOING AROUND“
PF
Maintain take-off safety speed min. V2 = 84 kts
PM
At altitude 400 ft AGL or at acceleration altitude if higher reports „400 FT“ or
„ACCELERATION ALTITUDE“.
PF
Increases airspeed to 97 kts and issues command „FLAPS UP“.
PM
„SPEED CHECKED” crosschecks the speed and sets flaps up
PM
Repeats altitude for GA e.g.:“GO AROUND ALTITUDE FOUR THOUSAND FEET“.
PF
Issues command „AFTER TAKEOFF CHECKLIST“.
PM
After CHECKLIST is completed reports „AFTER TAKEOFF CHECKLIST COMPLETED“.
PF
Monitors missed approach track.
