Emergencies after V1
This part of the briefing is conducted by the PF.
In the event of emergencies after V1, we will continue the take off by applying maximum power,
and establish a positive rate of climb, retract the gear and accelerate to V2.
In the event of an Engine Failure:
Crew shall identify and confirm the engine failedand ensure that the auto-Feather has
engaged.
In the event that the Auto-Feather does not activate, crew will ensure that the propeller is
manually feathered.
After 400feet AGL, level Off, accelerate to flap retraction speed and retract the flaps and
continue to climb at Vyse to the briefed safe altitudeor MSA.
In the event of an Engine Fire:
Crew shall Identify and confirm the fire, then continue climb to a safe altitude.
After 400feet AGL, level Off, accelerate to flap retraction speed and retract the flaps and
continue to climb at Vyse to the briefed safe altitudeor MSA.
