4.4 Cockpit/ Cabin Preparation
Once the Preflight Checklisthas been completed,the Captain completes the systems checks.
The FO completes a general inspection of the cabin, ensuring that seats are correctlypositioned
and secured, life vests and briefing cards are present, the seat belt/no smoking signs are working
and the aircraft is presentable to passengers. Emergency lock pins are removed from
emergency exits and placed in seat pocket behind FO.
After the inspection, the FO shall report the conditionof the cabin to the Captain.
4.5 Fuelling
General guidelines on fuelling procedures can be found in the Operations Manual. The following
is a supplement to those existing policies andprocedures for the L410UVP-E20.
If the crew is present when fuelling is taking place, they shall ensure theycheck the fuel cap
security (while the ladder is still present).

PARKING ONCONCRETE APRON, THEN THE AIRPLANE MUST BE EARTHED.WHEN
USING THE LADDER FOR THE ACCESS TO THE WINGUPPER SIDE, SPECIAL CARE
MUST BE PAID TO PREVENT THEFALL DOWN. RUBBERSOLED SHOES MUST BE USED
WHENMOVING OVER THE WING. WHEN HANDLING THE FILLINGHOSES CARE
MUST BE PAID TO AVOID ANY DAMAGE ON THERUBBER DEICERS OF THE WING
LEADING EDGES.
