Note:
The only exception may be that some lamps up
to 1000W power can produce power fluctuations
at the end of the heat up period (a few minutes
after ignition): The CIC controller already identi-
fies the end of the COLD-phase, but then the
lamp power could drop below the supervised
limit, and the power error (PWR ERR) will be dis-
played.
This exceptional situation applies only for the
power error - not for voltage or current error -
and within a short period following the LAMP
COLD status.
CURR ERR
Current Error
Deviation of desired lamp current more than +/- 5%
VOLT ERR
Voltage Error
Lamp voltage is higher than U
max
(for a few sec)
MACH ERR
Machine-Interlock Error
Voltage interlock active
PWR ERR
Power Error
Lamp power could not reach P
min
or P
idle
during
COLD-phase
N2-ERR
Nitrogen (cooling) Error
N
2
-Loss is active for a few seconds FAILURE LED
INTERLOCK N2 blinks
INT ERR
Contact Interlock Error
Contact Interlock active
FAILURE LED INTERLOCK blinks
TEMP ERR
Temperature Error
Temperature sensor (on heat sink inside CIC) active
FAILURE LED TEMPERATURE blinks
CAB ERR
Cable Error
Ignition box cable not connected or defect
NET ERR
Voltage control Error
Voltage deviation during start up of the lamp is too
high
(LAMP COLD-PHASE)
NO START
Current Error during IGNI-
TION
Current error during the first 10 sec of IGNITION
(desired c/- 5%) CIC1200 shut down
CTRL ERR
Power resp. Intensity Con-
troller Error
Deviation of desired power resp. intensity is too high
for controller in CP- or CI-mode.
TOL ERR
Tolerance Error
The controller could not regulate fast enough during
the adjustment with SET CH1/CH2 resp. SET
POWER.
