CHOKE LEVER
The carburetor of this vehicle has a
choke system to provide easy starting
when the engine is cold. The choke
system works by moving the choke
lever to the ENGAGE position. The
choke system works best when the
throttle is in the closed position. When
the engine is warm, you do not need
to use the choke system for starting.
NOTE: Refer to the RIDING YOUR
ATV section of the manual for the
engine starting procedure.
CAUTION
Engaging the starter motor for
more than five seconds at a time
can damage the ATV.
The starter motor and wiring har-
ness may overheat.
If the engine does not start after
several attempts, check the fuel
supply and ignition system. Refer
to the TROUBLESHOOTING sec-
tion in this manual.
