ENGINE REMOUNTING
Remount the engine in the reverse order of removal. Pay atten-
tion to the following points:
Install the crankcase bracket

to the frame and insert the
crankcase bracket mounting shaft.
Push down on the rear part of the crankcase bracket and have
the damper

touch the stopper
3
. While holding the damper,
tighten the engine mounting bracket nut
4
to the specified
torque.
Engine mounting bracket nut: 65 N·m (6.5 kgf-m)
Install the engine and tighten the engine mounting nut

to
the specified torque.
Engine mounting nut: 60 N·m (6.0 kgf-m)
NOTE:
When tightening the engine mounting nut, make sure that the
front wheel is elevated.
Tighten the rear shock absorber lower mounting nut

to the
specified torque.
Rear shock absorber nut: 35 N·m (3.5 kgf-m)
Place 65 kg on the seat, after installing the engine.
Check that clearances
A
and
B
are equal. If clearances
A
and
B
are not equal, repeat the engine installation proce-
dures.
After installing the engine, properly route the wire harness,
cables, and hoses. Refer to the wire and cable routing sec-
tions. (
7-10 to 7-16)
