1. BUYER RECOMMENDATIONS

Unpack the device carefully. Make sure there are no accessories left in the box. Check up the
device for damage; if the product was damaged during transportation, address the firm which carried
out the delivery; if the product functions incorrectly, address the dealer at once.

Check up the package contents and availability of the warranty card. Make sure the warranty card
has a shop stamp, a legible signature or the seller’s stamp and purchase date, and the goods
number corresponds to that in the warranty card. Remember, warranty service is possible if you have
a warranty card or a cash receipt confirming the purchase.

Before installing and using the speaker system, read this Manual carefully and keep it for future
reference.
•
Shipping and transportation equipment is permitted only in the original container.
•
Does not require special conditions for realization.

Dispose of in accordance with regulations for the disposal of household and computer equipment.

3. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•
Do not connect simultaneously the load to the surge protector with total power more than 3600 W.
•
Connection of the surge protector to a non-sinusoidal voltage source, such as UPS, is not
recommended.
•
When signs of failure are found (for example, the output voltage absence in a socket), mechanical
damages, high temperature of the item or the odor, the item must be disconnected immediately from
the wall socket and you should address to a service center.
•
If the protection status indicator is out of order, the surge protector should be replaced it with a new
one.
•
Do not open and never attempt to repair the item by yourself, it should be repaired by qualified persons
only.

SVEN SF-S1U surge protector is designed to protect household appliances and computers. The device
falls in surge protection devices (SPD) of the limiting type.
