The gear jack must only be used by trained personnel.
•
Always allow for a power reserve of at least 25% during lifting operations.
•
Do not exceed the maximum load of 500 kg. Do not overload the gear jack.
•
Do not attempt to use the gear jack to prop up or lift an entire vehicle.
•
Always make sure that the gear jack is in a stable position and set up on even ground
before each use.
•
Only lift vehicle components in the areas specifi ed by the vehicle manufacturer.
•
Do not use the gear jack if damaged. Do not perform any welding, drilling or make any
other changes to the gear jack. Any modifi cations made to the gear jack will void the
warranty.
•
Separate the different materials (plastic / rubber / metal / oil) to allow them to be recycled
in line with national standards. Do not mix old oil with other waste.
A S S E M B LY I N S T R U C T I O N S :
1 .
Fit the four rotatable casters to the two black assembly frames. Makes sure the castors
are fi tted in the correct direction during installation. Tighten the fastening nut.
2 .
Bolt the assembly frame to the gear jack and tighten the screws. Again, make sure the
gear jack is fi tted in the correct direction during installation.
3 .
Replace the locking screw screwed into the standpipe with the enclosed venting screw.
If the gear jack is to be transported lying fl at at any time, the locking screw has to be
fi tted again.
