Program List and Explanations
5.3 Relay Contacts
5.3.1
Alarm Relay:
The alarm relay is used as cumulative error indicator.
Under normal operating conditions the contact is active.
The contact is
inactive at:
Power loss
Detection of system faults like defective sensors or electronic
parts
High case temperature
Process values out of programmed ranges.
Note:
Above definition assumes that the alarm relay is used as
normally closed (Terminals 10/11). If terminals 12/11 are used,
the alarm relay is normally open, then the above definition is
inverted. See also

5.3.1.1
Alarm Conductivity
5.3.1.1.1
Alarm High:
If the measured value rises above the alarm high val-
ue, the alarm relay is activated and E001, is displayed in the mes-
sage list.
Range: 0
S–300 mS
5.3.1.1.25
Alarm Low:
If the measured value falls below the alarm low value,
the alarm relay is activated and E002 is displayed in the message
list.
Range: 0
S–300 mS
5.3.1.1.35
Hysteresis:
Within the hyst. range, the relay does not switch. This
prevents damage of relays contacts when the measured value fluc-
tuates around the alarm value.
Range. 0
S–300 mS
5.3.1.1.45
Delay:
Duration, the activation of the alarm relay is retarded after
the measuring value has risen above/fallen below the programmed
alarm.
Range: 0–28‘800 Sec
