Startup without main power: Press the on button and hold for 3 sec, indicated with a
beep. After a short delay the UPS will power up and BATT is shown on the display. The
UPS is now operating with an alarm beeping every 4 sec. Switch on the output breaker;
the UPS will now supply 230VAC until the batteries are discharged. The UPS will return to
normal operation when main power is connected.
5. Maintenance

Exchanging batteries
•
Maintenance: The
batteries are maintenance free and need to be replaced in 7-8 years.
To ensure the battery lifespan the temperature may never exceed 20°C. A 5°C increase
will decrease the battery lifespan with 50%. Except for the batteries the UPS need no
other maintenance.

Service:
In order to change UPS unit, cut the main power or switch the input breaker off.
Press the off button and hold for 3 sec, indicated with a beep. The UPS will now start to
shut down which will take 20 sec to complete. L
oosening the fastening straps and unplug
the UPS device. Loosen incoming and outgoing cables from the UPS and remove it from
the enclosure. Insert the new one and plug in incoming and outgoing cables.

up. The UPS is now operating and status is shown on the display. Power up the main
cable or switch on the breaker for input voltage.

Battery Replacement:
In order to change batteries, cut the main power or switches the
input breaker off. Press the off button and hold for 3 sec, indicated with a beep. The UPS
will now start to shut down which will take 20 sec to complete. L

batteries and disconnect the battery cables. Plug in the new batteries and insert them
into the UPS. Insert then the UPS and plug in incoming and outgoing cables.
