6.4 PLUS: DISPLAY OF THE SECOND
LINE/BALLISTICS
In addition to the range measurement and corrected shooting
distance, the EL Range can show you the hold-over correction
value and the number of clicks. These correction values are
calculated based on range, angle of fire, temperature, air
pressure, and the ballistics selected. You can store three fire-
arms and their ballistic data on the EL Range. The individual
ballistic data is simply entered into the app and transferred to
the EL Range via Bluetooth.
Note:
Measure the actual muzzle velocity and ballistic coefficient
(BC) for your firearm/ammunition combination so that you
can ensure total accuracy for the shooting distance selec-
ted.
In addition to the ballistic correction value, in the second line
you can also display the tilt angle (based on the angular
position) to the target, the direction, or the corrected shooting
distance. If you wish, you can also deactivate the second
line and you will only see the measured range in the first line.
For each range measurement you can also display the angle
of the binoculars from the observation point to the target
point.
If you use the corrected shooting distance for an angled
shot, simply set your ballistic turret to the distance shown in
the second line or use the corresponding aiming point on the
long-range reticle (SWAROAIM).
The corrected shooting distance is calculated up to 1,000 m/
1,093 yds. At greater distances, the angle correction is
applied only in the hold-over value and the number of
clicks. From any distance from which the bullet velocity falls
under 330 m/s, no further ballistic correction values will be
displayed.
6.5 LIGHT – ADJUSTING THE BRIGHTNESS
First, go to “LIGHT” to adjust the display brightness to suit you.
You can choose from 5 brightness levels.
7. REMOVING THE OBJECTIVE
LENS COVER
1. Open the objective lens cover.
2. Pull the lens cover firmly down-
wards.
3. Fit the filler piece into the metal
ring. When you hear a click, this
means that it is attached.
Note:
When you want to replace the lens cover, slide the filler piece
out of the metal ring with your thumb and then repeat Step 3
with the lens covers.
The binoculars automatically adjust the brightness of the dis-
play based on the brightness level you select.
6.6 ATMOS DATA
Atmospheric data
Display of air pressure and temperature in the selected units.
6.7 RIFLE
Firearm selection
Here you can select the firearm you are currently using and
the corresponding ballistic correction. You can find the cali-
ber and ballistics for each firearm in the EL Range app.
