Airflow balance
Measure and adjust the parameters with the
comfort panel, see description and parameters
in the table on page 21.
Measure the total supply air and exhaust air flow
in normal, max and min. The exhaust flow rate
shall in all operating modes correspond to the
supply air flow plus 5-10%.
Improper flow balance can result in unit stop by
trigging alarm 9, low supply air temperature.
IMPORTANT!
In low external temperatures, the unit must
be run in normal operating mode ventilation,
this ensures that any heater is operating and
that the air circulation is adequate *.
* Insufficient air circulation or improper flow
balance can cause condensation to occur in the
heat exchanger at low outdoor temperatures,
this is a signal that the air circulation is inade-
quate, or that the supply airflow is larger than
the exhaust air flow. This can lead to moisture
and risk of major damage.
In the above diagram is read as follows:
Blue solid line
Maximum air flow in relation to external pressure
Blue dashed line Min adjustable flow in normal operating mode
Gray Line
Noise Level (dB A) to ambient (calculated)
Black line
Recommended operating max
Green, Blue, Red SFP in relation to the flow and pressure
