SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
User
This garden tool is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the machine by a person
responsible for their safety.
Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these
instructions to use the garden tool. Supervise children.
This will ensure that children do not play with the unit.
Intended Use
This chainsaw tool is
- designed for cutting brushes,
trunks, or timber beams up to a diameter
according to the guide bar length
- only allowed to cut wood
- not suitable for work above shoulder height,
- to be used according to the descriptions and
safety instructions indicated in this operating
manual.
Any other use is not as intended. Improper use is not
covered by the warranty and the manufacturer will reject
any liability. The user is liable for all injuries to third
parties and damage to their property. People who work
with the chainsaw or make maintenance on it must be
familiar with the manual. It is only allowed to assemble
on the chainsaw
the manufacturer’s original or approved
spare parts (e.g., guide bar, saw chain, spark plug) as
well as the allowed combinations of guide bar / saw
chain as named in the manual. Furthermore, a
professional use for tree services is strictly forbidden.
Operate the unit only in the technical condition as
stipulated and delivered by the manufacturer.
Arbitrary changes to the unit will exclude the
manufacturer from any liability for resulting injury and/or
damage.
The chainsaw is only intended to be used outdoors.
Residual Risks
Even with the intended use of the power tool, there is
always a residual risk, which cannot be prevented.
According to the type and construction of the tool, the
following potential hazards might apply:

Contact with exposed saw teeth of the saw
chain (cutting hazards)
2.
Access to the rotating saw chain (cutting
hazards)
3.
Unforeseen, abrupt movement of the guide
bar (cutting hazards)
4.
Flung out of parts from the saw chain
(Cutting / injection hazards)
5.
Flung out of parts of the work piece
6.
Inhalation of work piece particles and
emissions from the gasoline engine
7.
Skin contact with the fuel (gasoline / oil)
8.
Loss of hearing, if no required ear protection
used during work.
