If new messages have been left on the answering machine, your call is taken after
just 2 rings of the phone.
If no messages have been recorded, the call is taken after 6 rings. Place the receiver
on−hook before the 6th ring. In this way, no call charges accrue.

Listening−in to incoming messages
When the answering machine is switched on, you can listen to incoming calls without
actually taking the call.

to zero.
If you want to take the call as the outgoing message is being played or a message
is being recorded, simply take the call in the normal way.
Taking a call
When the answering machine is already answering a call, you can take it personally at
any time. Recording of the message is automatically stopped in this case.

Selecting answering mode
The answering machine is provided with two, pre−recorded outgoing messages. After out-
going message 1 (OGM 1) has been played, the caller can leave a message. Outgoing
message 2 (OGM 2) on the other hand is purely an announcement stating that no mess-
ages can be left. If the answering machine memory is full, outgoing message 2 is auto-
matically played to callers. Both outgoing messages can be replaced by those of your
own.
