Functionality
Pattern Select
No Yellow Wire Systems (4 Wires)
If you wish to have only one (1) pattern, select the pattern by momentarily touching the GREEN wire to the
BLACK (Ground). After the desired pattern is selected, secure the GREEN wire away with a wire nut, and/or
tape the end to ensure no further pattern change.
If you have a model with the GREEN wire connected to a momentary switch, the different patterns can be
cycled through (switch kit #766163).
Yellow Wire Systems (5 Wires)
Pattern selection is the same as above however, each colour option can have its own pattern selected.
For example, the primary colour can have a different pattern than the secondary colour, and both can have
different patterns than when both colours are activated (see Colour Selection below).
To select each colour options pattern, activate the colour option (see Colour Selection below) and select the
pattern by momentarily touching the GREEN wire to the BLACK (Ground).
Repeat for the other colour options.
Synchronize/Alternate
Connect the WHITE wires together.
With the power off,
permanently connect the GREEN wire of one of the lightheads to the RED wire (Positive)
for syncronization of flash patterns or to the BLACK wire (Ground) to alternate flash patterns.
The lighthead without its green wire connected will now control the flash pattern for all lights on this network.
Refer to Pattern Select instructions above.
Colour Selection
(Where Applicable)
Connect the YELLOW wire to a 3-position switch.
Connecting the YELLOW wire to the RED wire (Positive) will enable only the primary colour.
Connecting the YELLOW wire to the BLACK wire (Ground) will enable only the secondary colour.
Leaving the YELLOW wire UNCONNECTED (Floating) will enable both colours.
Trouble Shooting
If your light fails to work, please follow these troubleshooting tips before calling the factory:
Check all connections for breakage or corrosion.
Check to see if the fuse has blown within the vehicle. If it has, replace with a fuse of the exact same amp
rating.
For long wire lengths, ensure the voltage at the light’s connections is adequate. If not, you may have to
shorten the length or increase the wire gauge.
Ensure vehicle’s battery is charged and that the charging system is functional.
