Never keep the emergency override keys inside the safe. Do not lose them as they are the
only way to mechanically override the locking bolt

if the electrics fail. For security purposes,
change the factory default code “1234” as soon as possible.
Getting Started
• Remove the access compartment cover

• Take out the emergency keys, and insert them into the override key hole

• Turn the key all the way anti-clockwise.
• Turn the lock/release knob

clockwise.
• The locking bolts

will retract and the door will open.
• Spread the included carpet over the safe floor

• Insert batteries, see chapter “Inserting / Replacing” batteries.
Inserting / Replacing Batteries
• If the electrics no longer work, use the keys to open the door.
• Remove the battery compartment cover

• If you replace the batteries, remove depleted batteries first.
• Insert 4 x 1.5 V AA type batteries (not included), taking care to match polarities as shown inside the battery
compartment.
Registering Fingerprint(s)
For optimal fingerprint enrollment, place your finger flat against the sensor, making sure the
sensor and your fingertip is clean and dry. Register at least two different fingerprints and test a
few times before closing the safe door
• Press the initialization button

• Place a finger on the sensor until you hear two short beeps followed by another beep.
- Repeat the above steps to register up to 32 fingerprints. After registering 32 fingerprints, you will need
to delete previous fingerprints before registering new ones.

indicate that the fingerprint failed to register
Set / Change Pass Code
If you hear 3 short beeps, it means the code failed to register. repeat the above steps. The safe
can only register one code.
• On the number pad

, press and hold the number “1” until the green LED

turns on.
• Enter existing code (factory default is “1234”), then press the power button

. A beep will sound.
• Enter a new code (4-8 digits), then press the power button

. A beep will sound.
• Re-enter new code, press the power button

. A beep will sound.
• Registration is now complete.
Open Safe
Avoid leaving safe door open and unattended; it will allow unauthorized individuals to add their
fingerprints and/or reprogram the safe, gaining full access to the safe and the contents.

Safe with Fingerprint Sensor

Intended Use
The safe box is designed to store valuable items. It has a strong steel plate casing that can be mounted to
a horizontal or vertical surface. The safe is powered by 4 x 1.5 V AA type batteries and can be unlocked via
numeric pass code, fingerprint sensor or mechanical override key.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
result in other hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product
available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

a) General Information
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing
material for children.
• Protect the device from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, steam and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be completed by a technician or an
authorised repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical personnel.
b) Batteries
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries.
• The batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to
avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when
in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there
is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
• All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the device
can lead to battery leakage and device damage.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
