f) Saving/changing user code
When the access mode has been set to “2” as described in section 8. c), each transponder must
be assigned an additional user code.
This access mode provides activation of the changeover contact only after recognition of a valid
transponder and entering a valid user code.
Important!
All codes (master code, user codes, standard access code, bypass code, AUX code)
must have the same length. For example, if a master code consists of 5 digits, the user
codes must also have 5 digits.
By default, the preset user code for each of the 600 memory cells is “8888”. The
number of digits in the preset user code (5 to 8 digits) for each memory cell depends
on the number of digits in the master code (for example, if the master code has five
digits, the preset user code is “88888”).
Proceed as follows:
Note that the programming mode cannot be called up for this purpose. The point is
that a user can save/change their own secret user code themselves.
•
Press the button twice in a row.
•
Hold the transponder you want to save a user code for in front of the RFID sensor. When the
transponder is recognised, the code lock emits a long beep.
• Once the LED flashes yellow and blue alternately, the save mode is enabled.
•
Enter the old user code (see note above!).
Example:
•
After pressing the button, the code lock emits two beeps.
•
Enter the new user code.
Example:
•
Press the key.
•
Enter the new user code once again for security reasons.
Example:
•
The code lock will emit a long beep.
•
Press the button to complete the entry. The code lock goes back to standby mode.
