h) Clearing individual memory cells
The respective user will no longer have access once the corresponding memory cell with the
stored transponder is cleared. The user code is reset to factory defaults.
By default, the user code is “8888”. The number of digits in the default user code (5
to 8 digits) depends on the number of digits in the master code (for example, if the
master code has five digits, the default user code is “88888”).
The same procedure must be performed when a transponder is lost or defective (the “old” tran-
sponder stored in a memory cell cannot be overwritten by a new one).
If only the user code needs to be changed without deleting the transponder, follow the
instructions in section 8. f).
Proceed as follows:
•
Enter the master code twice to start the programming mode, as described in section 8. a).
The yellow LED must light up.
•
Enter the programming code to enable deletion:
•
The code lock will emit 2 beeps.
•
Enter the code for deletion:
•
Enter the number of the memory cell to be cleared.
Example: Clear memory cell 007:
•
The code lock will emit a long beep.
•
Press the
button to finish the deletion process. The programming mode is exited and the
code lock goes back to standby mode.
Example for clearing memory cell 007 (the default master code “1234” is used as an example;
you must use your own master code):
