Using the Universal Cable Cup
1.
Ensure that ActiveSync was installed on the host computer and a partnership was
created. See
2.
Start ActiveSync if it is not running on the host computer. To start, select

Microsoft
ActiveSync
. The
Microsoft ActiveSync
window appears.

Note: Every terminal should have a unique device name. Never try to
synchronize more than one terminal to the same name. See
on page 3-49 for instructions on changing the device
name.

Ensure that locking tabs on the cable cup are in the open position (up).
4.
Insert the terminal into the cable cup.
5.
Press down on the two locking tabs.
6.
Pull on the cable cup to ensure that it is securely seated on the terminal.
