Chapter 2: Hardware Setup

Start up the RackStation

Connect one end of the power cord to the power port located on the back of the RackStation and the other end

to a power outlet.

Connect at least one LAN cable to one of the LAN ports and the other end to your switch, router, or hub.

Press the power button to turn on the RackStation.

Congratulations! Your RackStation is now online and detectable from a network computer.
