The UPS-1500 Series of products provide up to 1500 VA and 1250 W of total output power (AC
plus DC). They come in two different physical formats:
• A 1U high, 32 lb. rackmount unit that uses a standard battery pack that provides >10 minutes
of battery backup at full power.
• A 2U high, 50 lb. rackmount unit that uses the expanded battery pack provides >24 minutes of
battery backup at full power.
Each of the two rack mount unit configurations have various options that can be specified
according to the part numbering scheme shown in the table above:
