Operating Environment
The SynQor UPS-1500 Series is designed for the extreme environmental conditions of military and
aerospace applications. All the electronic circuitry and the battery pack are contained in a sealed,
weather-proof, shock-proof chamber constructed of die-cast aluminum. Only the redundant, water-
proof cooling fans are exposed to the environment. Protection circuitry ensures that the battery is
not charged or discharged if it is too hot or too cold. The UPS will shut down if it is too hot.
The UPS (equipped with connected cables or installed connector covers and an installed battery
pack) has been qualified to the following MIL-STD-810G requirements:
