Troubleshooting
Note:
If you cannot find a solution to your problem in this section, speak to Systemair technical support.
Problem
Cause
Solution
The pump is not running.
Incorrect control unit parameters.
Make sure control unit settings are
correct.
Incorrect pump settings.
Make sure the pump settings are
correct.
The electrical connection is not
correctly done.
Do a check of the cables and
connection points, if the electrical
connection is correctly done the
pump is defective.
Speak to Systemair technical
support.
No or insufficient cooling or
preheating capacity.
System pressure is too low or
incorrect pump settings.
Do a check of the system pressure
and fill the system if necessary.
Do a check and correct the pump
settings.
The air output is not sufficient.
The filter is clogged.
Change the filter.
There is blockage in the air inlet or
the duct system.
Remove the blockage.
There is unusual noise when the
product starts or operates.
There is strain in the connections of
the duct system.
Loosen the connections, align the
parts of the duct system correctly
and tighten the connections.
Siphon is empty.
Fill the siphon.
Cavitation due to insufficient suction
pressure
Increase the system pressure within
the permissible range.
Increased condensation.
Condensate drain is clogged.
Clean the condensate drains (top and
bottom of the geothermal heat
exchanger).
Condensation on the pipes and / or
air duct connections.
Insulate duct connections and pipes.
System is not protected against
frost.
Insulate the room where the
geothermal heat exchanger is
installed or move the geothermal
heat exchanger to a frost-protected
room.
High inside air humidity.
Make sure that room where the
geothermal heat exchanger is
installed has good airflow regularly.
If the air humidity remains high,
move the geothermal heat
exchanger to a room with a lower air
humidity or insulate the parts on
which the condensate occurs.
