• When the button is pressed and held for 10 seconds, the
green LED starts flashing for 3 seconds.
• If the button is released within these 3 seconds, the
binding mode is entered.
• If the button is not released within these 3 seconds, the
LED goes off and the gateway will go to idle mode.
• If the button is not pressed for at least 10 seconds, the
gateway will go to idle mode.
4.4 Binding mode
In the binding mode, the remote modules contacts the
gateway and requests connection.
In the binding mode, the red and green LED’s are alternately
lit and a bind request message from a remote module can be
received. If a message from a remote module is received and
accepted, the gateway stays in binding mode for an additional
5 minutes. The gateway will accept additional requests from
remote modules without pressing the button again.
If no bind request message is received for 5 minutes, the idle
mode is entered.
