Programming Options:
Allows to select among 4 different curves, 6
º, 9º, 12º and
15
º. These curves can be altered using a software and a PC or through the
PTA105 terminal.
Select the option 2 (2 red LED blinks).
With the engine running, press the accelerator until the point where the
advance wants to be activated.
Press the programming button shortly, in this way the wanted point is
memorized.
While the option 2 remains selected, each time the button is pressed, the
present TPS value is taken as activation point.
Selects between a regular 0-5V TPA and a 5-0V reverse one.
allows to select the type of HALL sensor CKP has. The
possible outlets are: OC (Open Collector), 5V or 12V.

possible outlets are: OC (Open Collector), 5V or 12V.
: Activates the entry and advance generation at the CMP
outlet

allows the TAP to program itself with the values it
detects of the vehicle.
Turn on the vehicle.
Running on gasoline.
Engine regime stable between 2600 and 3000 RPM.
Go to the Option 7 (Self-programming), and check the green LED blinks
just once. This indicates that everything is ready for self-programming. If it
blinks twice, there is a mistake, check the electric connections.
Short press on the button.
The TAP will execute the Self-programming. This process might take
some seconds.

If the TAP should fail, in the wiring harness there is an emergency
connector to reestablish the vehicles original connection.
Remove the protecting cap in the TAP
´s lower part
Disconnect the cables harness from the TAP, releasing the cramp on the
connector.
Connect it to the emergency connector, in this way the engine works with
its original connection.
