Operating button
Source selection
A brief press on this button selects the desired listening source. Press the but-
ton repeatedly until the listening source of your choice is displayed.
The signal from the selected source can now be played through the loud-
speakers. It is also available at the
LINE-OUT
output sockets for recording pur-
poses.
To make the selection process easier, you can remove sources from the Select
list which are not present in your system; see the Chapter entitled “System
configuration menu / Source names”.
Disc mechanism functions
STOP / OPEN
Button for stopping the disc, and opening and closing the disc drawer.
Brief press:
stop
Long press:
opens the disc drawer immediately
PLAY / PAUSE
Starts playback
Halts running playback (pause)
Resumes playback after a pause
Long press during playback:
Rewind / Station search
Long press during playback:
Fast forward / Station search
During playback:
Next track / Station
During playback:
Previous track / Station
Menu functions
Source menu

opens the menu for the selected source (Disk track menu,
Tuner menu, etc.)
