Remote control of the CD-player
General information
In the drawing alongside the buttons marked "
"
are those required to operate the CD player. The other
buttons have no effect on the CD player.
Selecting the CD player as auditioning
source
Selects the
CD 820 M
as the current
auditioning source.
The screen briefly shows
'CD'
in
confirmation, then reverts to the normal
CD player display.
All the remote control commands are now
passed to the CD player.
Button assignment
Temporarily halts the playback process,
i.e. the current track is interrupted; the
display shows:

PAUSE
PAUSE
PAUSE
PAUSE

. A further brief
press on the
button resumes
playback.
Stops playback.
Opens and closes the CD drawer when
the CD is stopped.
Starts playback; selects the next track
during playback.
Selects
the
previous
track
during
playback.
Fast forward and rewind for locating a
particular passage.
Button for storing a MEMO program.

When you press this button briefly for the
first time, the digital filter just selected is
displayed on the
PT 820 M
’s integral
system screen.
If you press this button repeatedly, the five
digital filters of the
CD 820 M
are selected
in turn.
