Remote control
Introduction
In general terms the function of the buttons on the remote control handset is the same as the corresponding buttons on
the machine’s front panel.
The following table shows the remote control buttons and their function when operating the machine.
The buttons not required to operate the
PA 2500 R
are not shown in the illustration of the
SRC1
.
Switches the device on and off
This button cyclically switches through the sources
IN 1
to
IN 7
. If
necessary, press the
button repeatedly until the desired
source is shown in the display. After the desired source has been
selected, the device switches to this input with a short delay.
A brief press switches the loudspeakers on in turn:

A+B
A long press switches the loudspeaker outputs off. A brief press
on the
button switches the loudspeakers on again.
Increase / decrease
volume
The volume can be increased / decreased in steps by tipping
one of the volume buttons. The current volume level is displayed
on the display screen. If one of the buttons is kept pressed for
approx. 2 seconds the volume increases / decreases
continuously until the button is released.

Special characters are assigned to the

During the text input process it is possible to switch between
numerical and alpha-numeric input, and between capital and
lower-case letters, using the
button.
During character input:
Switches between numeric and alpha-numeric input, and
between capitals and lower case when pressed (repeatedly)
Opens the configuration menu
