the holes of the soleplate
and stain the fabric.
You are using chemical descaling agents.

Fabric fibers have accumulated in the holes

sufficiently or you have ironed a new gar-
ment before washing it.
Do not add any descaling agents to the water tank.
Do a self cleaning and consult the chapter "What type of
water should be used?".
Do a self cleaning and wipe the soleplate with a damp
sponge. Vacuum the holes of the soleplate from time to
time.
Make sure that laundered clothes are rinsed thoroughly
to remove any soap deposits. Launder new washable
clothing before ironing.
The soleplate is dirty or brown
and is staining the fabric.
You are using starch.
Clean the soleplate with a damp sponge and lower the
temperature.
